Well, we finally converted Sofia's crib into a bed. She's been sleeping in her crib for over three years. Her pediatrician in Dallas told us she didn't need a bed unless she tried to get out. So, we kept her in it, since she never climbed out and always slept well.
The last few months Sofia has been waking up in the middle of the night. So, we figured it was time to change her crib into a "big girl" bed. We thought she needed more room to sleep and it was past due.
She loves her "new" bed and picked out the princess bedding that's on it. She seems to be sleeping better and she loves that she can get out. Much to her dismay, the gate at the top of the stairs keeps her from going too far.
