Paul's parents both retired this year and were able to plan a visit out here this summer. We were excited they were coming. They live in Lakeland, Florida and we hadn't seen them, since our trip to Disney in February.
They were flexible and able to come out this past week. My mom went into the hospital unexpectedly and it was nice to have them here. We needed the help more than we thought.
We had a nice visit. We took them out for mexican food at Alamo Cafe the first night they were here. They really enjoyed the fajitas! They mostly hung out at home, while I was at the hospital. It was great having them watch the girls one night, so Paul could go visit mom, too.
The last day they helped rearrange furniture while our carpet was being stretched. I don't think they realized they were going to have to work during their visit :) We also took them to have pizza at my favorite place, DoubleDave's.
All in all it was a pleasant visit and made the days go by faster for me. I hope they come again soon!
