My dad came to keep us company while Paul was gone this week. We've had a nice visit and time to hangout when Sofia went to Mother's Day Out. We ate out and looked around in some stores. It's pretty cool that my dad enjoys shopping. He's always been a good sport and likes to look at stuff.
We did some fun things with Sofia this week. We took her to the La Cantera Mall on Tuesday to have lunch and play on the playground there. They also have a little section of coin-operated rides in the food court. We usually skip it, since it can add up really fast, but Sofia talked Grandpa Johnny into letting her ride. Of course, I took some pictures. I just wish I had taken pictures of her with my dad. But, he always manages to get out of the shot.
Then, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese today to get out of the heat. Sofia had fun and ended up making a friend on the slide. So, she played and played. Grandpa Johnny took her around to the electronic games and enjoyed them even more than Sofia did.
It's been a fun visit. Plus, the week has flown by with Paul gone. We hope my dad can come back soon!
