Last Sunday, my mom had a great idea to take Sofia to Kiddie Park. We had never taken her and have been meaning to do it for a while. I went online to see what time they were open and found out some cool things.
Kiddie Park is a San Antonio landmark. It has been open since 1925 and is the oldest kid amusement park in the nation. The rides have been painted and restored over the years. It was great to see how well they run.
My mom also shared some stories from her childhood with me. When my mom was little, her parents use to bring her to Kiddie Park when they would visit San Antonio. I had never heard the stories about the family vacations they had.
Sofia had a wonderful time riding the rides over and over. It was a special day with Grandma. We will definitely do it again!
