Most people know about Paul's reserve job at Scott Air Force Base near St. Louis. He has to do 2 weeks in the summer every year and usually I go up there for a few days. This time we decided to take Sofia and do some family stuff. We got some great tips from people who recommended the Zoo and Grant's Farm.
We spent Saturday at the Zoo. It was wonderful and so big. We had great weather, which was a relief from the hot temps of Texas. We didn't take Sofia's stroller and we were worried about how she would do. But, she walked all day and didn't get tired.
We had lots of fun! We rode the train and carousel. We saw so many animals and got great pictures. We took bunches of pictures with the elephants, since they are Sofia's favorites! They also had an attraction where you can pet the stingrays, but Sofia was kinda scared. So, instead she picked out a stuffed stingray to take home with her. It was a great day! We'll definitely have to go back there again!
